DESCRIPTION:The path of membership begins with becoming a Community Member.\nUnity Palo Alto is part of a global spiritual movement that brings together people from all backgrounds and walks of life. We are welcoming and inclusive and teach positive\, practical spiritual principles that can be applied daily. We are here to inspire people to spiritually transform their lives and make a positive difference in the world. \nThis phase of membership focuses on your spiritual growth through the Sunday Service\, meditation and affirmative prayer\, classes\, and workshops. It is about creating a sense of belonging through community activity and sharing our time and talents. DESCRIPTION:Adventures in Prayer: Praying Your Way to a God You Can Trust is a five-session online prayer workshop offered by Unity Palo Alto. The series runs on five consecutive Sundays\, August 23 through September 20\, 2026\, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on Zoom. Based on the book by Rev. Sharon Connors\, this workshop is for anyone who wants to build a more meaningful\, personal prayer life\, whether you are just beginning or looking to go deeper. \nWhat to expect\nEach 90-minute session brings together a welcoming\, open group to explore the ideas in Rev. Connors’ book through thoughtful group discussion\, quiet journaling\, guided meditation\, and direct prayer practice. \nFacilitated by Unity Palo Alto Prayer Chaplains Jho Angeles\, Sarah Ann Gaevert\, Ben Cooley\, and Karen Friedman\, the sessions are designed to feel supportive and spacious.
