SUMMARY:The Art of Getting Unstuck – A Creative Workshop to Explore Fear
DESCRIPTION:What if fear wasn’t the problem? What if it was trying to get your attention? On Sunday\, October 25\, 2026\, from noon to 3:00 pm\, the Creative Expression Project invites you to The Art of Getting Unstuck – Fear and Its 7 Messengers\, a one-time workshop held in the YES Hall at Unity Palo Alto. This is a heart-and-body experience for anyone who has ever felt held back\, shut down\, or stuck — and is ready to try something different. No art skills needed. No prior reading or knowledge required. Just come as you are. \nThe workshop moves through a guided process using breathwork\, imagery\, collage\, drawing\, and journaling. You’ll start by noticing how fear actually feels in your body — not analyzing it\, just noticing it. From there\, you’ll explore one of fear’s seven messengers that shows up in your own life\, listen for what it’s been trying to tell you\, and begin to consider a different choice. The creative activities aren’t about making something beautiful. They’re tools for helping you slow down\, tune in\, and hear what’s already there. The process you’ll practice — notice\, pause\, listen\, choose\, affirm — is simple enough to carry into your everyday life long after the workshop ends. \nThe workshop is open to everyone. There are no prerequisites\, no required reading\, and no artistic experience needed whatsoever. The cost is $20 to cover materials. DESCRIPTION:Sacred Silence Meditation is a drop-in gathering that offers a gentle\, intentional pause at the end of your week. \nJoin Dr. Holly Hopkins Shah on Thursdays to go into the silence. The 30-minute meditation begins at 7:30 pm  (following 15 minutes of connection time at 7:15) and will include 20 minutes of silence.  Open to anyone who wants to set down the noise of the week and rest in stillness for a while. Perfect for anyone who feels the pull toward the quiet or is curious about silent meditation vs. guided. \nWhat to expect\n– The evening begins with a few minutes of connection to help you release the busyness you carried in.\n– From there\, a brief reading rooted in universal spiritual principles settles the room before the group enters into shared silence together.\n– This is not a guided meditation with prompts or instructions.
