A new kind of yoga everyone can do, and anyone can benefit from. This 8-week series builds from one session to the next. You’ll develop strength & flexibility, but you won’t be on the floor, and you won’t twist yourself into weird positions. Most importantly, you’ll learn the techniques of energy-flow meditation–a Kriya Yoga practice that leads to a joyful connection to something far greater than yourself–an experience known as Christ Consciousness, or enlightenment.
Wear easy on/off shoes and loose, comfortable clothing, but don’t expect to sweat. Bring a meditation cushion and/or yoga block if you have them. (A yoga mat is not required.)
This 8-week series builds from one session to the next. By the end, you’ll have built an energy activation and meditation practice you can do on your own–one that leads to a joyful connection with something far greater than yourself.
What We’ll Do
We’ll use a combination of yoga asanas and isometric exercises to awaken our energy centers, at the same time developing the specific combination of strength and flexibility needed for strong, upright posture–the kind that lets you sit effortlessly for meditation. You’ll learn breathing practices that turn those activities into energy-activation processes. As you progress, you’ll learn subtle (but powerful) internal activation techniques that are even more effective for generating energy flows.
Over time, you will become increasingly more adept at generating internal energy flows and increasingly more sensitive to them–a dual capacity that will unfold within you, in time.
The End Game
Like a path leading to an oasis, the time required to get to the destination depends on where you start, how often you travel, and how long you travel. But arrival at the ultimate destination is assured if you travel the path.
Once you become aware of the energy within you, you begin to experience yourself as an energy being. When you do, you’ll find yourself connecting to the unending energy of the universe. and uncover the ability to become truly, authentically positive–anytime and anywhere–a state that can truly be called “enlightened”.
The Progression
We’ll start with a basic Bench Yoga practice and work up to more powerful Subtle Energy Yoga techniques. You’ll develop the kind of posture that lets you sit effortlessly for meditation, and learn how to use breath practices, soft stretches, simple isometrics, and energy activations to generate the kind of internal energy flows that lead to the experience of enlightenment.
After we’ve built an energy-flow meditation practice, we’ll talk about the nature of the universe. That understanding, along with your internal-energy experience, will help you manifest the connection. But of the two, it is the experience of internal energy that matters most.
About Me
Call me “Coach.” I do not claim perfection or a guruhood of any kind. I have flaws and am constantly learning. In other words, I am an “inspired bubble of imperfection” with important things to share. Some I learned from others. Some were inspired in meditation, or evolved in 30 years of practice. I believe that no one becomes truly enlightened until we are all enlightened–so it is incumbent on us all to help others whenever we can.
