July Women’s Group Hike – Baylands Nature Preserve

From the Lucy Evans Nature Center, we will explore the Baylands Nature Preserve using a completely flat path. This easy walk combines marshland wildlife and wind surfers.

Start Point: Park at the Lucy Evans Nature Center lot on Embarcadero Road.

Quick Tips for Your Walk

  • Terrain: Entirely flat on crushed oyster shells and paved paths.
  • Facilities: Restrooms and drinking fountains are available near the main parking lot.
  • What to Expect: Due to the exposed nature of the baylands, bringing a windbreaker or layered clothing is recommended. Make sure to have a hat that will not blow away. It will be windy. If the hat goes into the marshland, we cannot retrieve it.
