Project Cornerstone is committed to helping children in the Silicon Valley feel valued and respected and work within the YMCA of Santa Clara County to provide training and consulting to uplift the youth in the county. Unity Palo Alto Spiritual Center’s generous $500 donation will support YMCA Project Cornerstone’s mission to support the mental health and well-being of all youth by fostering their development of healthy social and emotional skills and educating adults on how to cultivate caring and supportive relationships with youth. These funds will help provide curriculum materials, training for school staff and volunteers, and programs that empower students to build empathy, confidence, and positive relationships. Unity’s support helps create school and community environments where young people feel valued, respected, and known. Together, we’re building a culture of care that helps youth thrive — in families, schools, and communities.
