To experience the Divine is to feel at One with the Allness of life, love, and wisdom. This is the true purpose of affirmative prayer, and it lights the spark of divinity within each of us. This illumination helps us remember and express our inherent qualities – peace, joy, and light.

Joyfully, this experience is available to each of us! How? Join your Prayer Chaplains in a seven-week deep dive into the understanding and experience of affirmative prayer. Inspired by Discover Your Divinity, Come Apart for Awhile, and How to Pray without Talking to God, this is an opportunity to enrich and deepen your personal prayer practice, whether you are new to or a seasoned practitioner of affirmative prayer. There may be opportunities for in-person prayer practice.

Get your mid-week spiritual UPLIFT on Zoom with Rev. John. We will begin with the Daily Word and meditation, and then hold each other in affirmative prayer.

We support each other with our heart agreements:

• Center - I will center myself before joining the Zoom.
• Be Fully Present - I will be fully present during each meeting.
• Visualize - I will visualize the highest and best for myself and every other person based on their expressed desires.
• Advice-free Zone - I practice sacred listening and refrain from giving advice.
• Trust - I will keep all that is said in confidence. I will not speak to or reach out to another person unless explicitly asked.

Join us for Unity Palo Alto's Annual Pet Blessing. Bring your furry, feathered, or scaly friends to celebrate the joy they bring to our lives. Our pets enrich our lives. This is a chance to honor the special bond we share with them. Each pet will receive a unique blessing during the ceremony led by Casey Wicker, LUT. There will also be a memorial table for you to display a photo of a pet that has passed away. Let’s gather to show our love and appreciation for our pets. Animal lovers and pets of all faiths are welcome.
