Make your chakras shine!With Eric Armstrong A new kind of yoga everyone can do, and anyone can benefit from. This 8-week series builds from one session to the next. You'll develop strength & flexibility, but you won't be on the floor, and you won't twist yourself into weird positions. Most importantly, you'll learn the techniques of energy-flow meditation--a Kriya Yoga practice that leads to a joyful connection to something far greater than yourself--an experience known as Christ Consciousness, or enlightenment. Wear easy on/off shoes and loose, comfortable clothing, but don't expect to sweat. Bring a meditation cushion and/or yoga block if you have them. (A yoga mat is not required.) This 8-week series builds from one session to the next. By the end, you'll have built an energy activation and meditation practice you can do on your own--one that leads to a joyful connection with something far greater than yourself. |

With Casey Wicker, Licensed Unity Teacher During this meditation service, we will look at Holy Week through the lens of metaphysical interpretation. Through readings, music, and times of silence, we will be invited to release erroneous thoughts and beliefs that hold us back from opening to the fullness of our divine light. We will travel with the way shower, Jesus, on a journey to Jerusalem, our metaphysical “habitation of peace.” |

Normally on the 2nd Sunday of the Month (moved to Wednesday 4/12 due to Easter) All are invited to infuse our community prayer requests with love and blessings before we send them off to Silent Unity, where they will be held in prayer for 30 days. This meditation service is the same sacred practice used by Silent Unity — one heart, one voice in prayer, affirming the light within. |

An experience of writing your life storiesGroup-led on the 3rd Sunday Stories, memories, tales of the past, call them what you will; memories matter. History paints a broad picture of the world, national and local times and events but says little about the individuals who lived through those times. Memories are not experiences to be relived and constantly aired but to be looked at, learned from, and shared so the future may see how life used to be. Each month, this group comes together to develop writing skills, inspire each other, and share stories. A topic for writing is chosen by the group at the end of each session.
