The Season for Nonviolence marks the 64 days between the memorial anniversaries of Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. It was co-founded by Arun and Sunanda Gandhi and the Leadership Council of The Association for Global New Thought (AGNT) in 1998. We learn to practice nonviolence one step at a time, one choice at a time, one day at a time. Through our daily nonviolent choices and action, our noble and courageous spirits rise to move the world in the direction of peace.

Write Your Story
An experience of writing your life stories
This group-led Zoom event will meet on 5/8 & 6/26
Stories, memories, tales of the past, call them what you will, memories matter. History paints a broad picture of the world, national and local times, and events but says little about the individuals who lived through those times. Memories are not experiences to be relived and constantly aired, but to be looked at learned from, and shared so the future may see how life used to be.
Each month this group comes together to develop writing skills, inspire each other, and share stories. A topic for writing is chosen by the group at the end of each session. Each session is group-facilitated.

The Stories We Tell Ourselves
With Gregg Levoy, author & speaker
Hands-on workshop in person and on Zoom
$30 registration fee
Register at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-stories-we-tell-ourselves-tickets-381871035547We're storytelling animals, and we create stories to help us make sense of life and give us a framework for our decisions, whether personal, professional, or spiritual. But those stories can sometimes turn on us—especially the negative ones—and become self-limiting when they come up against life's primary goal: Grow. And when they become lies of identity—I am what I do, I am what I have, I am what other people think of me.
This presentation—part service talk and part hands-on workshop—is designed to help you identify and reconsider the stories you tell yourself. We’ll work to separate fact from fiction, emphasize the positive in our stories, and understand that they don't keep replaying themselves to torment us, but to offer us opportunities to heal and grow. The soul’s agenda is not punishment, but healing.
